Personal Narrative: My Pandora Bracelet

Decent Essays
My Pandora Bracelet- My Pandora bracelet was given to me by my uncle and aunt from England. It was a graduation present, therefore I got the graduating owl for my first Pandora charm. My second and third charm was given to me from my other aunt. The charms were a Vespa Scooter and an elephant. The scooter is a promise that one day my aunt will drive me around Italy on a Vespa scooter. The elephant symbolises the elephants that I adopted at the David Sheldrick Foundation, which brings me to the next precious thing to me.
Kithaka and Mutara- Kithaka and Mutara are the two elephants that I have adopted from the David Sheldrick Foundation. This foundation is for orphaned elephant calves whose mother has been killed. A calf depends on its mother’s milk for the first two years of its life. Both Kithaka and Mutara’s mothers were killed because of poaching. I feel very strongly against poaching.
Pooh Bear- I have had my Pooh B ear with me since I was about 2 months old. He has been with me through many trips. My mom says that when I was upset as a baby, I would hold Pooh Bear to calm me down. Throughout my life I have always held pooh bear to calm me down. It was the only stuffed toy that could make me calm.
My Phone- I have had my phone since last December. My parents gave it to me as a Christmas present. It is an IPhone 5c and I have it everywhere I go.

My dad is helping me hold my umbrella up, and I am gingerly smiling at him. I was about 2 years old in this picture. I don’t know why, but whenever I see this picture, I smile. It is a picture that captures how I feel about my dad. My ginger smile states how proud I am to have him as my dad. The way my head is looking up at him, shows how my whole life, I will look up to my dad as my hero. The way my dad is holding my umbrella, shows my dad will always protect me and help me if I am in need of

Many newborn Calves die because they are being kept in captivity. For instance there was this Killer Whale and she was pregnant, once her calf was born they were together for mostly all of the day. Seaworld then saw the baby as a distraction and said that it is ruining her moms performance and quickly they decided to separate them and little did her mother know that her baby was going to be taken from her to a different seaworld location. This was documented and after the baby was taken away for several hours you could see the whale just in a corner crying, screaming. They also found something interesting and it was that the whale was trying to locate where her baby was, and no one at seaworld had been able to capture that until that day.…

When it comes to one single object that I care about more than any other, it would have to be the chain necklace my father gave me before I left for school. At the time, I did not quite understand the depth of the meaning behind it, but there have been times that I rely on it to get me through my day. Two of the most important components in my life are family and hockey. This chain brings them both together and reminds me what I’m striving for. I was a naive fifteen year old that was leaving the family and life I was used to.…

The Barbie Jeep was a present from my mom on my birthday.…

Not a single prized-possession, no metaphoric symbols, no family heirlooms, not even an everyday object that I could somehow pull a deeper meaning out of came to mind. I had no words to describe what I carry, nothing at all. And I then realized that I couldn’t have described it any better. I carry nothing.…
