Throughout my officiating career, I have noticed a shift in how I think about officials. Starting out, I wanted to officiate because I wanted to wear a visor and be just like the NHL referee's. As time progresses, I learned there is a lot more to officiating than just wearing a visor and dropping pucks. I learned how to become a leader through officiating. I was able to take the knowledge I learned from officiating and apply it to my game.
As of right now, my primary goal is to earn my degree's at school; however, I believe I have a future in officiating. My goals for my officiating career are to be able to become a better official and to work the highest level games I possibly can successfully.
