I tried to always have a positive attitude, because I knew that my attitude and energy could effect the students willingness to learn. Another aspect to make the environment safe was that the students participation in physical education was by invitation and not demand. This meant that if students didn’t want to participate then they weren’t forced to. This let the students know that Adam (my supervisor) and I cared about their feelings and wanted them to be happy. It’s difficult to don’t know how a student is truly feeling or what is going on in a students life outside of the classroom.
