“If a woman cannot stay home with her children, then maybe she just should not have them!” Natosha Keller, my mother, is a stay at home mom who believes if a woman were to have children, her number one priority should be to take care of her children and not have to worry about anything else. On the other hand there are other mothers who do not have a choice to being a stay at home mom, and they have to work to support their family. Making the decision to stay with your children or join the workforce can be a difficult process. For a lot of parents it is damaging for them to be away from their children for more than a few hours a day, and that is a big reason why we have stay at home moms. Her children are honest, they do not lie and people can depend upon them, her children also do not lose their tempers, scream, yell or strike out against others when things do not go their way. They are not lazy; they strive, they are hard workers who always want to get things right when doing something. They have high self-esteem and they believe they deserve success and know they can do anything they go after, they know that a mistake is something that they do and not who they are. At home, it just started with the little things when they started to walk and talk, like picking up toys after they were done playing with them. As they got older they started to get more responsibilities like keeping rooms clean and not to be leaving messes around the house. Then they started to get chores around the house, little things at first like sweeping the kitchen then moved to harder things like cleaning the bathroom. Responsibilities are a big aspect of the Keller Household and everybody is made to take a part in them.
