I ended my race completely out of energy. I had nothing left. My mom helped lift me up and walk me over to a chair and sat me down. "You did great keese" she always tells me that. Whether I actually did good or bad she never puts me down. She ran when she was my age too so she knows what I need and she always gets it for me or even if it's just advice, she has it. She always seems to know when I'm happy or sad and she always keeps me cheerful. My mom is awesome and that is why she is my Michigan hero.
My mom doesn't let pain and stress slow her down. When your parents get divorced, it really sucks. It was stressful for me and my sister and definitely for my mom too. Then she was going to be remarried, which made things worse for me of course.
