Role Models A role model is someone in your life that has influenced you in a positive way. They help shape the way you are in the present and what you will become in the future. Everyone has someone they can look up to when they need advice in a hard situation. A role model will guide you right from wrong and inspire you to do better. The person who I look up to and call my role model is my mom. One of the most important roles that my mom plays in my life is that of teacher and counselor. My mom has always been there for me whether she is teaching me life lessons or supporting my goals. Whenever I am struggling I can always count on her to pick me back up. She is a single mom taking care of three kids. She tries her hardest to give the three of us the best life. Money has always been a big issue in our lives. When times are tough she always reassures that things will work out and they always do. The way she handles problems is one of the reasons she is my role model and I look up to her. My mom can handle anything that is thrown at her. Lastly my mom inspires me because she is always trying to better herself. She decided to go part time back to college. She started college but ended up dropping out because she had her first child. She works so hard to go to work everyday and still have time to do her schoolwork. The amount of hard work she does is incredible and motivates me to be more like her. My mom is my role model and I am inspired by her everyday. She has been my teacher, counselor, role model, and friend for all of my life. My mom is an incredible person and role model. She always looks out for me and gives me great advice. Having her in my life makes me want to be a better person. I am proud to call my mom my role
