We competed against each other to help us strive higher and better. In the same year, I got the school athlete award. Although I felt proud of myself, deep inside I knew I could have done better for the school and the people that had helped me improve myself. I started to set more sophisticated goals for myself as a challenge to become better than who I am now.
I am currently in Mississauga Swim Team (MSSAC). During my time at MSSAC, I enhanced my learning skills and life skills. As an athlete, in order to improve your time, you got to have initiative and withstand against pain. Also, time management is also key to success because it’s seven times a week, two hours a day. My goals at MSSAC is to be better, faster and improve. After my time at MSSAC, I want to continue helping out the community by being a lifeguard at a community centre.
In the end, people won’t remember you, but the things you have done. In conclusion, I want to become a man who makes the world a better place to be. It’s not about how many times you fall but how many times you get back

College Application Essay Having a twin is not how it is portrayed in the movies as mirroring their every move, having telepathy, or can replacing them in everyday life. In my case, it was like living behind a gloomy shadow instinctively mimicking her every move. Going to school, coming home, and spending weekends with the exact same person for a whole decade could easily start to become repetitive. Little did I know, this lifestyle of copying my twin’s every move would end up assisting me in the future with academics, extra-curricular activities and lifetime goals.…

Countless of times, I find myself wishing I was born earlier. Maybe it is because I have an old soul. Therefore, the past has a special allure to me, and I often turn to it to escape from our grim, day to day reality. Even though I’m well aware of all the benefits of living in the present day, I still can’t help myself feeling nostalgic when visiting old castles, attending medieval fairs or even reading books about Ancient Rome, lost civilizations or myths and mythology. Something comes alive for me that is impossible to experience in the present day.…
