Looking back on my passed five years of knowing Jesus I would describe it as a rollercoaster ride. Back in sixith grade I was going through a transition from Crosswalk to Hang time, Elementary School to middle school, and ultimately finding who I was and knowing Jesus. My worldview closely resembles the Biblical Worldview described in the Charry text, but by no means is anywhere near where it could be. My Christian character will continue to develop and mature throughout my life as I continue to study the scriptures, commune with God in prayer, continually ask for repentance, and forgiving those who have showed transgressions toward me. L. Gregory Jones states, “Christian living requires a willingness to inquire after the God of Jesus Christ, an inquiry which shapes us a people of repentance and forgiveness” (Charry, 2000, p. 204). Repentance and forgiveness are two aspects of the Christian walk that I struggle with. There are many times that I get so busy with life that I forget to prayerfully repent…

“Overture to An Occasional Oratorio” was a perfect introductory exposition to Handel’s capabilities. Although there was a strong string majority, there was still a significant horn presence with a dynamic range that could mask the strings if necessary. However, there was typically a very successfully symbiotic blend. The Maestoso opened with a strong, projecting horn line, accompanied by the timpani reminiscent of that of a royal introduction. Despite being distracted by the physical performance discrepancies, my attention was grabbed by the boldness, and held captive throughout the rest of the composition, which ended with a march.…

Also, have you ever asked yourself what path you should take in your life, and have you ever asked yourself where your journey should begin and end? And finally, have you ever asked yourself who God is and where God is? I have pondered these questions many times over and over again, and yet I have not been able to answer these questions.
