To start, I was really excited when my parents told me that they were signing me up for soccer but I was a little nervous. I thought about what the other kids would think about me. Would they think that I'm atrocious, would they laugh at me? Or would they think that I'm decent? What I did know was that I needed to move out of my comfort zone and begin something fresh.
To continue, the weeks rolled by and tryouts came along. There were individuals writing down how talented we were. There was also a British man yelling at us to do push-ups and run faster. At first, I believe the whole of my was as nervous as I was (probably why we lost many games at first). During the middle of the season we became extra confident, also, our trust for one another increased as we became friends, therefore, we started to win games. Later on, I became incredibly attached to my team I would feel awful for missing a practice or game. I would also feel as though I let the team down if a shot slipped by me(I was the goalie). We didn't win the end of season tournament, Though I was able to take my experience to my next team. These days, I use teamwork in my daily life, especially when I have to do a project with someone teamwork makes it easier to coordinate with my partner and there are fewer fights.
In conclusion, It was nerve-racking to play at first, but as I became comfortable with my team I learned how important teamwork is and I continue to use what I learned to this
