Firstly, my love of Roba’s Farm is the pumpkin patch. The search for just the right pumpkin at Roba’s although challenging was very memorable. I remember standing there in the almost vacant patch of pumpkins with my mother on the hunt for the perfect one. It was getting late by the time we started searching and time was cutting it close. We needed to pick out the pumpkin quicker than I would have preplanned. My mother and I explored high and low for the pumpkin just for us. There were large ones, small ones, and even pocket size ones. Some were whimsical and oddly awkward, some were dingy and some without spot or blemish, and some were plainly just too perfect. When I searched for that perfect pumpkin I didn’t look for the very best pumpkin.
