1. I came from a relatively big school and one of the larger towns on Long Island, but I had no idea how weird it would be to live on a campus filled with strangers. There is a new face everywhere I look. I was so used to everyone knowing who I was back home, so the USC population has definitely been a huge adjustment.
2. I went to a very strict, academically oriented high school, so the work here has been a breeze. I am used to going to morning practices, then school, then evening practices, then going to the gym, then going home to do hours of homework. Needless to say, I have had more time on my hands than I know what to do with.
3. I am nervous about pledging, only because New York does not have big fraternities like down here. Also, most of my older friends stayed in New York for college, so I do not really know what pledging entails.

I cannot wait until wrestling starts. I originally came to school thinking that I was done with sports. But, I met a few wrestlers and they convinced me to check it out. I have always loved wrestling and I just want to get on the mat and see my competition. Also, I am excited for finals. All four years of high school, every final was cumulative, 3 hours long, and worth 50% of my overall grade. Additionally, all six of the finals each year were 6 days in a row with a weekend to break it up. So, this is my first year with relatively weightless finals.
5. I still cannot believe how nice everyone is around here. In New York everyone keeps to themselves and wants it to be that way. Also, my high school was big on upperclassmen superiority, so coming in here as a freshman I was expecting to be looked down upon. That is not what I have experienced at

Hi Jetaun, I was looking at my midterms grades over spring break and was sort of surprised to see that I had a B in Moreau this semester. I've looked over my individual grades and thought about my effort and performance and was hoping we could discuss them.
