Personal Narrative: My Life In Orlando

It was June. My grandparents, my parents, my aunt and uncle, my other uncle, three of my cousins, my best friend Olivia, and I were all eating breakfast at Cracker Barrel before we left. We were heading to Orlando, Florida. After breakfast, we all split to our cars and began the long fifteen hour drive. On the way there, my cousin, Joey, got rear- ended. My dad, a mechanic at the time, pulled over. But, they were on the other side of the road and with cars whooshing past he wasn’t going to go over there. Everything was alright with the car, so we continued. I’m gonna skip ahead because the rest of the ride was boring. We finally arrived in Orlando, Florida. Because there were twelve of us, we rented a house to stay in. We got our key to the clubhouse. After we finished unpacking, Olivia and I only had one thing on our mind, the swimming pool out back. We threw on our swimsuits and jumped into the pool. We were staying in Orlando for a week and had tickets for three days to Universal. I was very ecstatic. We went to Diagon Alley first. We ate at the Leaky Cauldron and it was delicious. Then we went to some of the shops and I got my own wand. Technically, it was Ginny Weasley’s wand but I still love it. I tried butterbeer and a chocolate frog. I absolutely loved both. That day was full of exploring. Then we traveled the Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross which was an amazing experience I’ll never forget. We went to the Hogwarts Castle and rode the ride inside the castle which was tons of fun. We saw dementors. In the past when my cousin, Joey, went, the ride stopped right as a dementor was breathing on him. I love the dementors so I very happy to see one in person. Which is odd because they strip the happiness out of you. Then we went to Hogsmeade and ate there as well. I got the same thing that I got when we went to the Leaky
