I’ve been counting down days till graduation, the time flies but I am still on the same page. I can’t wait to graduate but I am sure I will be thinking the opposite on the graduation day. My life at St. Joes is one of the unforgettable memories that I will carry with me even after I left from here. Meeting new people like St. Joes girls are not going to stop; it will continue next year in a new environment with new people. I can feel like grade 9 once again. “You can’t make a cloudy day a sunny day, but you can embrace it and decide it’s going to be a good day after all.”- Jane Lynch
Good luck everyone!

Coming to a city that you are unfamiliar with comes with the opportunity to meet new people. When I first came to Chicago in the second grade there was a different culture than in Joliet. With me living on the Southside of Chicago in the Chatham neighborhood, I knew how limited my resources to education were, even at a young age. It wasn’t until the seventh grade that I started helping the student in my school with their education. There were always students in my class that were slower learners and needed somebody other than a teacher to help them get the concept of a lesson.…
