My sister and I were dropped off in Dallas, Texas and waited two days for my mother to finish crossing. Once we had reunited with my mother, we were picked up by my uncle and brought to his home in Kansas City. My sister and I did not anticipate that my mother would be sent to work so soon, but the day after we came to Kansas City she was already being taught how to work in roofing construction.
