Personal Narrative: My Life As A Soccer Player

We learn something new everyday, while I been playing soccer for almost six to seven years. I never payed much attention to so many different things. While some soccer players are extremely alike others are so different. I decided to do an observation on my former high school boys soccer team. And a couple of interviews on other players. I been to many soccer games but never had I ever payed much attention to many things. For example the different things a soccer player carries. Recently I decided on going out to a soccer game and just observe everything a soccer player carries. From the necessary things you need to play like shinguards, socks, cleats, and of course there uniform. All these things very similar even though I notice how different …show more content…
The three captains put on there black and white captain badge with the big letter C on the side. One of the captains wrap tape around his wrist as he wrote something on each piece of tape. After the game I decided to take a closer look and see what he wrote. On each wrist he wrote KMZ #21. That right there was something that caught my eye. About two years ago we lost and amazing person who many people loved. He was a very loveable person who was always putting a smile on anybodys face. I knew from that very moment that the way he played was dedicated to him.While I notice this was something very important he carried I saw others put items away. While playing an actual soccer match there's things that you can not personally carry or have with you during a match. But it's those little things they do that defines each and every player. As I met all kinds of different players I realize that they're all very different. They carry many different things, but I do realize that they all carry a passion in them. That passion to go out there and make everyone proud. They always look at the stands and encourage their fans to cheer them on. The fans seem to respond just the way they want them
