Personal Narrative: My Life As A Soccer Team

I have played soccer since the age of nine, which if you really think about it, is relatively late when it comes to athletics. However, I had such a passion for soccer and a drive to be the so-called “best,” that I succeeded well beyond my peers. In one year I was able to go from being a benchwarmer to one of the finest players on the team. I began playing in more competitive leagues, even playing against boys at one point. I was called-up to my soccer club’s premier team and was afforded the opportunity to travel across the nation to play in tournaments.
