From the first time my father let me read his Murder and Mayhem novel in the seventh grade and in eighth grade when I went to Washington D.C. and visited a crime and punishment museum consisting of the history of crimes and how they were reprimanded for their actions. After that afternoon there, I became almost obsessed with knowing why. I find every action has an effect somewhere else down the line, as Newton would say. Moreover, I’ve lost countless hours from watching documentaries and researching these people. Sometimes I don’t understand why I’m so drawn to their life stories, but I find that the more I learn, the better I can connect with someone’s past actions that reflect themselves
