It seemed like even before I was in high school my future was already planned for me. That I was going to get pregnant and drop out of school at sixteen. I was going to be stuck working at Mcdonald’s trying to feed my family off of minimum wage, but I wasn't going to let that happen. I didn't wanna be another statistic. Growing up, Education has always been a big part of my life. My father never finished high school and my mother passed away before she could finish college. Because of this, I tried everything in my power to try to graduate. I started out good in ninth grade, but after a while, I started moving to different schools I started to not care.
