As a biology major taking a pre-med path I have had the chance to do a numerous amount of laboratories. I was able to be at animal biology, chemistry, general biology, and a plant biology laboratory. I haven't had any research experience however, I recently learned about this program, and it intrigued me to be able to achieve some type of research experience through a school like UCSD. Other than the experiences I have had throughout the past labs in school I haven't had a chance to get an opportunity at a research level. The lab experiences have given me some experiences that I think are relevant to a research environment.
