I became pregnant in 2011 and had a son born in November the same year. I began attending Junior Joliet College (JCC) in the Fall semester of January/2012. I was enrolled in five college classes and did not anticipate the abundant amount of study hours and the new educational culture a junior college offered at the time. Needless to say, I did not prepare much for this new endeavor but only envisioned myself completing all the classes I signed up for. I was still excited and determined as a carefree young lady who just had a baby, yet, not having the experience of managing my time and setting my priorities in order. I became restless, confused and all due to not knowing what it was like being a working single
