Growing up in Texas near two Air Force Bases and two Army/National Guard Camps lead my life to be influenced by members of the armed services. One of my earliest memories was being taken to an airshow that was taking place in my home town where their modern military planes and WW2 planes were demonstrating their capabilities. It was that day that started my road down aviation. Later on, I joined the Boy Scouts of America. Through the Boy Scouts and the Civil Air Patrol, I learned what being a servant leader truly is. To this day, I live by the values I learned in each of those programs and carry their traditions on.
