Personal Narrative: My Issues With Relocating Outside Of Michigan

Decent Essays
I have absolutely no issues with relocating outside of Michigan, I am open to all options. Considering places I would prefer not to reside, I am open to any possibility. With reference to the job title, I have no preference. After completing a little research on my own. I enjoy various aspects of your business. I would be open to other opportunities outside of my major, that would make myself the biggest asset to your company as possible.

With that being said, I would like to have a formal conversation to learn more about the business. As well to give you the opportunity to get to know me better. As my resume doesn't demonstrate all that I have to offer for you company.

I apologize for the late email. I received your previous email during

Growing up, my family and I weren’t very religious by any means. My parents grew up in Catholic families, but when they moved away from their families, they moved away from God too. Every time we were stationed in a new place, my parents always blamed not going to church on the military and how we would always be moving. My sister and I didn’t mind this, because we didn’t really know what church was, and didn’t understand the meaning of it, but when we moved to Louisiana in 2012, I met a friend that would change this. I met this girl Samantha, who seemed to be in a few of my classes.…

Moving to Orlando from Miami was a huge culture shock to me. Being from the city where people rarely sleep and restaurants/convenience stores are open 24/7 I had a bit of difficulty understanding why the Walgreens around the corner was closing at 12:00 a.m. As I adjusted to what I thought was a drastic change Orlando decided that it wanted to teach me a bit about nature. My time here has pushed me out of my shell and made me a bit more outdoorsy.…

The day I moved to Georgia, we had been living in Texas for five years when my mom said we were moving to Georgia. I graduated my senior year from high school I thought she was lying, but she said that the VA center down in Texas was awful, and she didn’t like it there anyways, but she really wanted a better VA system. Then we started packing every month putting stuff in storage, and having to do open houses every other week, we had to clean, vacuum and take our pets with us every time we left the house until our house finally sold. Then we started looking at houses In Grovetown, also for a good school system then we waited 3 weeks for a house because we were looking at spots with upstairs and down stairs, a big backyard for or dogs, also a school…

I am a dad and I have three great children. One night when we were downstairs watching a movie when the kids were asleep, I said to my wife, Amy, “I want to move to a more exceptional place so the kids can grow up in a better environment,” Amy said she wanted to do that too. “ It would take a long time and I wanted to find a new job because my original job is moving to Texas.” Right now we were living in a small town called Eagle. I told the kids if it was a good idea.…

One cold and dreary day in January, I got home from an uneventful day at school. I never would have guessed what was about to happen or thought that this would ever happen to me. I was just a quiet freshman in high school. My father sat down with my family and told us that we were about to move to Texas. I was both shocked and a little excited to move because I’ve always wanted to go south.…

Growing up in Michigan has been a wonderful experience, but upon completing my education I would like to experience a new area. Taking every life experience I have had and apply it in new ways to other parts of the United States, different from where I got to grow up. By taking what I know, I can spread what I have learned to other citizens with different life styles or experiences. I think a suburban city not to far from a big city is an ideal place to live and start an independent life. Having the option and getting to explore a big city is great as you learn valuable lessons that everyone should know while applying everything I learned living in a suburb community.…

Moving here from North Carolina when I was four changed my life completely, I was away from my family who I lived with my whole life, thrown into a school with a bunch of kids who lived here since they were born and told to “make friends.” This changed the next 13 years of my life to something I can never picture not having. The first four years, both my parents had full time jobs and my grandma helped raise me a lot, she taught me so many manners and how to behave, she even ended up living across the street from me for 2 of those years, they were rough for my parents, new baby, just moving, having to find jobs, making friends, and getting food on the table for me. Thats where my amazing family came in, with bringing home cooked meals…

Living in Olathe, Kansas, a large suburb outside of Kansas City, did not prepare me for the move to Salina. The benefits of living in a larger suburb are that the high schools can really help you prepare for the transition to college level classes. I did not take the help the school gave out into consideration when going to classes. My senior year was when everything clicked into place and I knew what I want to do with my life, and that was flying.…

Picking up my life and moving to Wisconsin wasn’t the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. Over the past fourteen weeks, I have had the joy of meeting phenomenal groups of new people within my job, my GA position, classes, and volunteering. Although I have had a great time getting to know others, I have felt a little inauthentic. Like most people, when I meet new people, I try really hard to make a good first impression. I have remained acting like my scatter-brained, self-conscious, excited self while meeting new people; however, I haven’t let anyone know that at the beginning, I didn’t necessarily feel as much at home as I had at the beginning.…
