Personal Narrative: My Interview With Bronson

Decent Essays
I have been with Bronson for over 20 years; therefore, I have watched Bronson’s growth and want to continue to be a part of its growth. Consequently, it has been very challenging to ‘grow’ inside of Bronson. I was in a leadership role at Bronson for several years, but it was taken away from me due to new changes. I have applied for several leadership positions afterwards, but I didn’t get an opportunity to interview for any of positions. The response was ‘need experience’. Well how does a person get experience if a person does not get a chance? Shouldn’t my former supervisor role be enough? I guess what I am saying is that I want to grow in Bronson, but if the right opportunity comes along, I will have to leave with sorrow.

Upon my arrival, I noticed numerous patrol units on the scene as well as police security tapes surrounding the address mentioned above. Subsequently, I came into contact with the Patrol Officer that was in charge, Sergeant Tupac Shakur then briefed me on the situation at hand. According to Sergeant Tupac Shakur, he was dispatched to 306 Oak Street for the reason that Bob Marley had not seen or spoken to his daughter Nicki Aaliyah Minaj since the evening of Friday, April 15th, 2017. I later learned that this was highly uncommon seeing that Haughton remained in contact with the family on a constant basis.…

The Thrill in the Kill…….And What it Does After Elham I. 8-1 I’m a deadbeat. There is no way to sugarcoat it (and frankly, I don’t want to). Being as profound and logical as I am, I decided to do something aside from my part-job at a convenience store: rob a bank. I probably would have gotten myself killed, but hey, no more having to reject minors for alcohol, right?…

For my UConn Alumni Feature, I had the responsibility of interviewing a young man by the name of Justin Paluch, an assistant basketball coach for Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. I originally chose Justin due to his current profession and after a 40-minute phone call that consisted of exchanging information and receiving advice, I am perfectly satisfied with the decision that I made. I thought it would be best to conduct my interview with starting from the beginning of his career up until where he is in his life today. The biggest thing that we had in common was the obvious: the fact that we both have attended the University of Connecticut. We talked about why he chose UConn and whether or not he felt that the Sport Management program did him justice.…

The generation I am growing up in, is full of a lot of issues but what bothers me the most is the fact that we are never told the full truth. I’m grow up where it’s wrong for an officer to do his job, or defend him or herself so they can see their family at the end of the day. The news broadcasters almost never give us the 100% full truth. They give us want people want to see for ratings. All that does is fuel the fire in debates leading to the people bringing up even more unnecessary actions.…

For my report I interviewed Kwyn Moffit at Speech Path Ohio in Lancaster, Ohio. It was a vary interesting interview and it helped open my eyes to some of the joys and challenges of being a SLP. One of things that I found particularly interesting about my interview with Kwan Moffit, was that she did not start out wanting to pursue a carrer in Speech Pathology. In fact, during her interview Ms. Moffit informed me that she had obtained her undergraduate in English literature and Genetics. It was not until she was working as a grant writer at Ohio State University with the head of neurology that she really became interested in Speech Language Pathology.…

“Shes coming back right?” a baffled 7 year old asks in response to the appalling news of her mother’s death. A vibrant imagination is accompanied by a crushing pain of reality that trails behind it ; I discovered this when I heard the words “no” . 10 years later, that conversation lingers in my head and holds not a cacophonous nor euphonious sound, but instead holds the neutral tone of reality, an alarm . As routine , at 6a.m., I hear a melodious alarm followed by the pitter-patter of my aunt who is getting ready for work.…
