I arranged my interview with a female teacher whose majority of her experience is in elementary education. She teaches second grade and has been teaching in Florida for 30 years. In the following I have listed the questions and answers that I have asked her:
1.) Have you found a discipline technique that works well?
She stated “I found that pulling children out of the classroom one-on-one works really well. This way students are able to talk to you when no one is watching. I walk through the steps of ‘confession, forgiveness, and resolution’ until the child has reached a complete resolution.”

She stated “Yes, I do. Personally, I feel that having technology opens up so many different modes of learning for my students and allows students to explore and take their learning to a whole new level.”
10.) How has education changed for better or worse in the last 20 years?
She stated “I think it has changed for the better in the last 20 years. With the use of technology and new interventions for learning I find that more and more children are being reached exactly if not higher expectations of where they should be developmentally. I find the younger students let’s say Kindergarteners’, to be much more mature and already well behaved ready to learn and more willing and engaged to take on the curriculum and meet expectations at a much higher level than in the past.
I found that I agree with many of the answers and feedback she gave. For example, I strongly agree and I have witnessed that many of today’s students (mostly the younger students) are already well engaged to tackle the curriculum and meet expectations than more so in the
