My interview on a Veteran.

For the record

My military interview was on my uncle Steve Lepard. The date of my interview was October 16th, 2016, and we had to call him because we didn’t have the time to go to Tiffin. How I found him was by my dad’s dad(my popple) and my popple’s brother is Steve my veteran. My veteran´s date of birth was December 2nd, 1952, Steve got married to my aunt Bev, and the have a 46 year old son named Shane. Steve currently lives in tiffin Ohio, Steve joined the army and his rank was a sgt.(sargeant)

Jogging memories

My uncle Steve enlisted to the army and he was currently living in Attica Ohio. The reason why is because there was a low draft number and he wanted a chance, and he chose this branch because it was a family tradition. Steve does recall his first days of service and it was totally different than what he was used to so he was not really sure what to do. Boot camp was very hard for Steve

He went through basic training and it was ok for him but then he went to Germany for advanced training. When he arrived he saw that Germany was beautiful but the german’s hated them being there. Steve’s job was to pershing missile taught offers to blow up buildings and cars. The challenges Steve faced were he didn't have many challenges but he did have one challenge during the 72’ olympics”black step” sent on patrols to hunt for licenses plates but there was a threat against the US military. Steve come very close while he and some other guys were on patrol scouting and almost had to take a shot. Things steve enjoyed was traveling through Europe and almost got to go to east berlin and cape kennedy to fire missiles and NASA tricked them to see how accurate they were. Steve was awarded the national defence ribbon and the Precision Professional 1st and 2nd order merit. He got them by unit citation with 2 oak leaf clusters expert
