She was led to choose this career because of the course work, she really enjoyed the classes and they were very interesting. She was able to get her undergrad from Nicholls State University and she has a Master's degree in social work and she is licensed, which means you have to undergo supervision for three years and then take a state board exam. I have learned so much from doing this interview with Mrs. Nikki. By her explaining what her job means to her and what she does on a daily basis has changed my mind so much about wanting to switch my major. We have a lot in common we both love working with kids and we both love the fact that we can change someones life around and make then a better person just by doing our job. I feel that if I stay with my major I would really enjoy it and be satisfied with my job.
