Life Review
Introduction
The person who I chose to interview is my father RS, he just turned 70 years old this past February, he has been married for 47years, and has 5 children. The reason I chose RS as the person to complete my interview is as a result of his hard work to overcome obstacles through life and his true dedication to his family through all his life. I aspire to have the same outlook of life that he has maintained through aging. As my journey continues and the aging process comes inevitably he remains my inspiration to seek my dreams at any stage of life.
A Picture RS was born in Mexico on February 3rd, 1945 he lived with his parents and18 siblings. RS grew up in a farming community where attending school was a privilege and not required. He was only allowed to attend 1 year of grade school before he was required to

380) as he stated it to be a perk of aging. The changes that occur with aging can affect all body systems and in the case of RS the musculoskeletal system has been affected and “although none of the age-related changes are life-threatening, any of them could affect one’s ability to function” (Touhy & Jett, 2014, p. 59) which in this case affects his ability to continue his field of employment. In this case RS continues to work in the physically demanding environment, which in turn can cause further damage to his already deteriorated knee joints. RS is having issues adapting in his transition in the role of employment to retirement, perhaps due to not wanting to retire, but doing so for health purposes this predisposes him to “have more difficulty adapting” (Touhy & Jett, 2014, p. 381) and accepting the change in role. Although, it seems that he has found a median that works for him as he still gets to work, but also allows time of rest in the summer

My Late Live Aging Describe the impact on you physically, emotionally, socially, and Financially (as much as you can imagine the impact). Living with a chronic condition such as arthritis in late life would feel as if I am held captive within the walls of a prison cell with no way out. My condition will be a constant reminder of not being able to physically experience life’s voyage because it is now a struggle to accomplish even the simplest task, such as tying my shoe lace or walk up a flight of stairs. If arthritis is my condition, I could only imagine the aches and pains invading my joints and body experiencing limitations making it hard to maintain normalcy and independence. Simply put, my level of activity will decrease, however,…

Have you ever heard a 2-year-old child suddenly shout out a football chant when they were that age and had no clue what it meant? If you haven't, you will be surprised to learn that I actually did that when I was that age. It was in December 1999 when my family had decided to go up to Pennsylvania to visit our relatives for the holidays. I wasn’t much of a talker at that time. As we were arriving at my Aunt Priscilla and Uncle Jim’s house, I sat quietly playing with one of my favorite stuff animals, a beanie baby named piggie.…

In the survivor's tale Maus written by Art Spiegelman, Vladek's son Artie loves to interview him about his deceased mother and discuss both of their experiences trying to escape and survive in the concentration camps during the reign of Adolf Hitler. If i had to interview someone like Artie did to Vladek, I would have to interview my Grandfather Carl. My Grandfather Carl was a very busy man and a nice man at that. Some of the most interesting things he did was holding the position of Chief Petty Officer in the Coast Guard in World War II, and he enjoyed farming and fishing as hobbies.…

A motif that haunts the months of college applications and preparation is the daunting idea of seniors entering into the "real world." An alleged, new realm of reality that discredits the validity of the last few years in high school, not to mention the three before that and all the experiences previously. This concept coincides seamlessly with the idea that college is a beacon of newfound adulthood. Even so, each student's differing personality, aspirations, culture and tribulations falsifies the belief that adulthood is that straightforward. Thus, in order to define the moment that marked my transition into adulthood, I must first define what being an adult means to me.…

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

Through out time a lot of things have changed. From the clothes we wear, to the way we talk, to the current event we lived through.
