My interest in the Naval Academy came later than most. It began when I entered the Yard on May 24, 2016, and continued to grow as I stepped into Bancroft Hall and read the names of true American heroes who have given their life to the United States of America. I quickly realized that the atmosphere I would be immersed in for four years would be filled with like-minded, motivated people who would help develop and maximize my leadership skills. For the majority of my life, I have looked upon leaders in the game of golf like Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, and most recently Jordan Spieth. I aspire to be like these athletes because they all achieved the pinnacle of success while maintaining the highest levels of respect.
