I had begun to send out messages to my instructors informing them of my situation (e-mails attached) in hopes that I would be able to recover some of my grades, however at this point in the semester they were unable to offer much help (I can easily understand why they would be unable/unwilling to help me, a lot of students come nearing the end of the semester requesting to have their grade boosted for various reasons). Nearing the end of march my immediate uncle was admitted to the hospital after falling into a coma; he’d been in poor health for a while, he passed April 1, 2016. In order to create accountability on my part I have contacted all of my professors for Fall of 2016 ahead of time, informing them of my situation and asking for tips/advice to prepare for their course (see attached E-mails). By preparing and using on campus resources (SIP, TASP, etc.) I plan to succeed in the Fall of 2016 at UNCG and throughout the entirety of my college
