Personal Narrative: My Impact On Personal Identity

Have you ever wondered what made you, you? Well, I’m Issa Mullener, i am 12 years old and i got to Riverglen Jr. high. I play many sports, such as running, and swimming, and basketball, my favorite color is blue, and my favorite animal is the wolf. The main 3 factors that impact my identity though are all of my friends, my abilities, and my family.

My friends impact my life in many different ways that are very important. My friends in one way or another determine my personality. By the way they talk, or by the way they act. They also make me happy, just being around them makes me glad that they are always going to be there for me. We hang out a lot at many different places, so i'm more independent from my family. I have always been independent, but with my friends, i'm more independent from my family, because i'm gone most of the time.

I am very athletic, i swim 4-5 times a week for an hour and 30 minutes. I also run a lot, i do track, and i play basketball for A.A.U., a big basketball program for girls. I am also really smart and I love to read, I am in accelerated 8th and 9th grade algebra. Drawing is also a talent of mine, and i have a sketchbook filled with doodles. I stay fit, and this has impacted my identity because i also go to many other places, such as races, and i meet more
