Personal Narrative: My High School Basketball Team

One of my greatest assets is dedication. While I was not the best basketball player on my high school team, I worked constantly to perfect my jump shot. Throughout my high school basketball career, I have met with my coach three days per week for one-on-one workouts to perfect my ball handling and shooting form. I wanted to be a much better basketball player, and was willing to put the work in to improve my game every day. I made the Varsity basketball team as a freshman, but didn't see the court at all. I didn't care much for minutes at the time, I just thought it was the coolest thing to be on my school basketball team and play with the best players from my school.
