There remains yet another season of Soccer and Track, and I plan to make my senior year most memorable. As a Varsity member of the Division I soccer team, I plan to lead our team to the district championships and then proceed to the State Tournament. Being the Track and Field girl’s captain two-years in a row, I plan to recruit more runners and help realize their potential in running. I would also like to participate in more community service activities such as Iron Man, RYLA, Campus Beautification, etc. I plan leave Kealakekua, Hawaii with much honor and dignity (I would say bang, but who knows what you would like to hear.) As the eldest in the family, I would like to set an example for my two younger sisters and make my community, school, and family proud.
Looking beyond my senior year, my focus shifts to my long term goals. There are numerous achievements I aspire to accomplish throughout my lifetime, but my ultimate goal is to live a worthy life and return to my Heavenly Father.
One goal I have aspired to achieve since I was a child, is to serve my Heavenly Father on a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I turn nineteen. I believe that “when you are on the Lord’s errands, you’re entitled to the Lord’s blessings.” When I return, I will come back to SVU to complete my undergraduate degree in Counseling and minor in music composition. I will then strive to attend BYU to pursue a doctorate degree in Psychology. Sometime during these events, I want to be married and start a family of my own (that is of course, if someone can handle all of my energy and excitement.) If I am given this opportunity, I intend to raise a strong family, while using my degree and knowledge to serve this
