Brandell Street: My Journey In The Younger Years Of Life

Brandell Street In my younger years of life, I experienced many hardships and trails that lead me down the wrong path of life. These hardships helped me to gain courage and dedication in my years of growth. My hidden talent was shown over the course of my journey and proud to say I went and got through it. At a young age I was heading down the wrong path, hanging out with the wrong crowd and not obeying my curfew. I just didn’t listen and that’s how everything caught up with me. By me being with the wrong crowd trying to impress them I had a run in with the law. Going through the system at the age of 14 years old which makes me a juvenile was one of the worse moments of my life. I struggled in certain academics first coming in but I made it my goal to do better. I managed to average a B- majority of my freshman and sophomore year. It was pretty easy until I hit my junior and senior year because I started to get distracted and I became lazy. My junior year I got passed it with a C+ but as soon as I hit senior year I lost all feelings for school, so I dropped out. All I was thinking about was getting a job so I can provide for myself, I didn’t like asking people for anything so I went out to hunt for a job. It was pretty hard finding a job until Target gave me a little break. It was a decent job, the employees were nice and the managers was very respectful. It was just my employer that gave me a lot of grief, even for the small things it was a problem. So it didn’t quite work out there, after a while I became lazy where I didn’t even bother to look for another job. I was down and out staying at home being miserable and I just couldn’t do it
