After delivering the package that saved his life to Lori they kept seeing each other. Which eventually lead to them getting married and having a son named Winston. Chuck spent these past years writing the show Lost in his spare time as a stay at home father. He traveled all over the world for his premiers. Chuck says goodbye to his family as he gets on a plane to his last premier in Taiwan. He hugs his wife and son before walking to board the plane. Once on and seated Chuck rests his head on the back on his seat hoping to get some sleep on this long journey. A few hours in he was jolted awake by the plane shaking there was a thunderstorm.
