Personal Narrative: My Hero's Journey

It had become a cool crisp night in the set of the winter cold. They were on the journey for an adventurous camping trip in Nebraska. Randy and Jeff had just awakened from their nightly slumber and were ready to carry on their adventure to Nebraska. They were staying in a local Super 8 motel and were eating breakfast when they heard there was a traitorous snow storm charging their way. They started to look at their map and found a new route to their destination. They had came all the way from Illinois and were not about to stop or turn around. The reasoning for this trip was to visit their family and meet up for a wonderful Christmas and vacation. They decided to shop and buy presents for their family along the way. After two hours of looking nobody found any trace of Jeff. About five hours later and miles of searching they had not found a trace of Jeff anywhere to be found. Randy decided to find a hotel and stay the night. He woke up early the next morning and found a taxi to get to the police station. When he got there they told Randy about a new idea of where to look for Jeff. They decided they would walk each way up and down the road to see if Jeff and walked down the road. After about an hour of looking they found his phone laying beneath the snow. They took the phone back to the police station to look at his phone and see if they could find any information. They continued to search for Jeff where they had found the phone. They went down the valley where they found his phone in case he had fallen down the valley. After an hour of looking they found Jeff lying in a pile of leaves and he was barely alive with his face covered in blood. They carried him up the hill and rushed him into the ambulance where he was deported to the hospital Randy was at. The next day Jeff finally awoke. Randy told them how they wrecked and that he was in the hospital for three days before they found out you were still out there and they needed to look for you. Then Randy told Jeff how they looked for him for two days before they found him. Then Jeff had asked Randy if he had contacted the family. Randy, with worry in his eyes, realized that he forgot completely that they were on a trip to visit family for
