Personal Narrative: My Hero's Journey '

Ever on and on I continue circling
With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony
Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing
And suddenly I see that I can't break free—
I'm

Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity
With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony
To tell me who I am, who I was
Uncertainty enveloping my mind
Till I can't break free
And

Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real
But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel
So I'm tired of all the pain, all the misery inside
And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night
You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go
But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know
If I make another move there'll be no more turning back

Will I make it through the night?
Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light?
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay, or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know?
Can I take another step? I've done everything I can
All the people that I see I will never understand
If I find a way to change, if I step into the light
Then I'll never be the same and it all will fade to white

Ever on and on I continue circling
With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony
Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing
And suddenly I see that I can't break free—
I'm

Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity
With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony
To tell me who I am, who I was

Till I can't break free

But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I

Have you ever encountered an absolutely gorgeous, charismatic hunk-of-man who, upon meeting him for the first time, had you convinced every move you'd made in your life, up to that point, led you directly to him? Did you feel strangely alive at the time; nevertheless fearing you might die because you suddenly forgot how to inhale, becoming light-headed due to a lack of oxygen? Initially, you probably fell into a state of panic as your eyes grew wide and your heart pounded painfully in your chest, but just in the knick of time you suddenly remembered you could breathe all on your own. In the days that followed, did you diligently fill every waking moment of your day with thoughts of him, reliving every second of the magic, never wanting to…

I tear open my skin with my nails, searching for promised galaxies and maybe a new universe to disappear in completely. I know this is desperate and the old me would never approve but he withered the old me away into nothing more than a pile of dust. I didn’t know he was watching but I don’t look up at him, expecting his little whine to come out but instead its a sob and for a second, I think he actually might care.…

Many face may had been taken of such a brutality of this torture like as if was a photograph, and as you picked it up, incepted it before you slammed it down onto the table as the glimpsed of evil bathed in a different clothing. The man held by a rope that felt normality thrown out the window as sneered of blood saturated the disgusted sight. It was something that been seen before but it never changed in a single life. It laid a nest that grew hungry and so refilled with flesh that left the same mark, like a ballpoint pen ink dotted on the arm of the next…

Twigs and rocks spear my bare soles, scratching at my calves, and I heave onto my palms, supported by violently trembling arms. I’ve fallen into a ditch, I realize, one that’s taller than me; this time I do sob, and rightfully so. The images of Molly, Ted, Emily flash in front of my eyes, faster and faster, an unending cycle of anguish. I squeeze my eyes shut and grind my teeth, one, two, three, BREATHE, four, five, six, BREATHE. A guttural sound escapes me, and I force myself to my feet.…
