One time I showed grit during my football game. It was during 7th grade and I can’t quite remember who we were playing, but I do know we were winning. It was fourth down and we were going to punt the ball but our coach told us to do a fake punt. When the ball was snapped Jack grabbed the ball and started sprinting my way. I was blocking my guy and the next thing I know I was clabbered. It turned out that Jack ran me and the guy over when I was blocking him. I landed on my head and it felt like I had a concussion. I went off the field and I didn’t think I was concussed but the pain really got me. I knew I needed to keep playing so the next time we were on offence I went out on the field and kept playing. That’s the time my grit helped me persevere
