One of my goals for the Community Affairs team is that we provide services to our internal and external business partners in the most cost effective manner possible. As a public agency, we use taxpayers’ money and as such, the use of overtime is reserved for only those times that merit its use. To assist the team in achieving this crucial goal, I have certain expectations regarding the use of overtime and working hours outside of your approved work schedule. The purpose of this letter is to reinforce these expectations.
