My goal last grade period was to read one book, which was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. I was to read 30 minutes per school day until the end of the grading period. Unfortunately, I did not meet my goal of finishing the book nor reading everyday. I did not had time for reading and that I did not have the motivation. I also learned many things about setting a goal.

I did not considered to try to do both but instead I just studied for APUSH. As I can see, I could have finished the book on time if I had read everyday for that 30 minutes. I learn that for reaching my goals I have to have a passion for it. If I do not want to read it, then it have no meaning to me why I should focus on completing the goal. I would push it off until I feel like doing
