Personal Narrative: My Goal Of Writing

Throughout your life you’ve prided yourself on being good at writing. You’ve always believed, that it was the content of a story that made it good not the mechanics or structure of the paper. Well if there's one thing you’ve learned about English 1100, it’s that the structure of the paper that organizes the content in order to help the reader understand. The goal of writing is not only to express one's thoughts but to reach out into the world and capture someone to help them understand your thought and emotions. As a writer you are able to cohesively manage a string of thoughts that somehow all fit together. You are able to find a different perspective or angle at every piece you do. While you may have some very good ideas and points it’s hard for reader to put the pieces together. Not everybody can see the paper you do, the mentality that everybody will understand, doesn’t work.
