Within my four years of high school, I’ve strived to be a leader. I wanted to be an individual that others could look up to one day. When freshman year began, I joined student council as my first step to have leadership skills. Student council members planned activities for the school and were excellent role models. This taught me the necessary skills needed to become a great student. The next step I needed to take, was to get inducted into the National Honors Society. Students need to have good grades and be active members in the community. Sophomore year came around, I applied to be inducted and was accepted.
