There has never been a more influential series than Gears of War. Not only was the Gears of war 2 my first Xbox games but it was also one of the first games I got emotionally attached to. It has a good story line and follows the idea of brotherhood (or sisterhood). The games fetchers a lot of lost friends and family where there able to move past it and this is why I modeled the way I deal with grief and other things after the game’s. gears of war was not as sad but it did introduce all the characters that will stay throughout the games (for the most part). this includes the carmine brothers which most of them die unfortunately and there is even a funny youtube video about it (yes i'm aware that contradicts my last statement). the basic
