Personal Narrative: My First Time To Quit Volleyball

I remember the first time I picked up a volleyball like it was yesterday. I loved the feeling of it and immediately wanted to be involved. The first time I joined a team was when I was around 10 or 11. I immediately loved it, but wasn’t the best at it and got discouraged for not being the best. When I was younger, I always had to be the best at everything. If I wasn’t the best then I wanted to quit. My step dad then helped me through it and we practiced all of the time. I then joined a different team. This team had a lot of girls that were a lot more experienced than me, but this helped me become a better player.
