Personal Narrative: My First Team Of Drake

one I am most passionate about. When I first started playing soccer, I was about five years old. Even though I was only five I still deeply enjoyed playing games and practicing. Then when I was about six, seven, and eight I played recreational soccer with a lot of my friends. I had a lot of fun with that team and all of my friends on that team. We were not a bad team either, but I really wanted to play more soccer, also play more competitively. Along the way, one of my friends named Nate wanted me to come train and guess play with a travel team named Chelsea. The first few training sessions went pretty well, so the team allowed me to guess play in a tournament. Of course, I was on the second team because I have never really played with these boys and the coaches have not seen me enough. …show more content…
Then, the end of the season came along, so it was time to try out for the team next year. I had a successful tryout and I was accepted to the first team of the newly formed club called NFC. I was astounded to play for the first team of NFC. But, I was soon to find out I was one of the worst on the team. So, I was determined to be the captain. I improved a whole lot my first and second year. So, this year I was the captain for NFC. Even though I was captain, I still wanted to keep improving. I believe that the third year was crucial for me to develop and mature as a player because we were playing on a bigger field, as well as eleven players on each side.
