A time when I used grit would be when I got my first tattoo. Grit is the ability to use perseverance, passion and courage. Firstly, courage is a big part of getting a tattoo. Pain could possibly come with getting one. For example, I was scared to get my first one, but I told myself “it won’t hurt forever.” Thus, getting a tattoo could be an obstacle that some people are afraid to overcome. It takes a strong amount of courage to fight your fears. Secondly, in my opinion you have to have a sort of passion towards what you want a tattoo to represent or stand for. It could represent a type of feeling or emotion. For instance, my first tattoo was a remembrance tattoo for my great grandma who passed away. Therefore to me, it takes a lot of passion
