Personal Narrative: My First Sport In Morocco

Growing up in Morocco, my first sport was soccer. I still love the game, but coming to America basketball started to take over slowly. One of the reason was most of my friends either played basketball or football. Soccer wasn’t as famous here as it was in Morocco. I started playing basketball in the 7th grade and all throughout high school for my high school team. When I wasn’t playing basketball, I was running track in the spring time. Although, playing basketball I found out I was better in track. When I was coming to Frostburg, I had two options to pick from. It was either basketball or track. I decided to join the track team and I’m happy with that decision. Even though I don’t enjoy running; I enjoy the competition and challenge of track
