My second personal brand is spread the respect. Respect should be given and received to everyone, of my rules I go by are treaty other the way you want to be treated, show kindness and considered for other people, and accept others for who they are. I was always taught to respect your elders. At a young age, I was taught the word respect. If I disrespect a teacher or an adult and they told my parents, I was going to get whooped when I got home. And then the next day my parents would make me apologize to the teacher or adult I disrespect. And then my parents will have a conference with all my teachers to see if I did any worse things if I did I will be on will be on punishment for at least a month or two. As I am growing up I am noticing respect is getting people a long way in life, if you have respect for …show more content…
I am always healthy because I never do or did drugs or alcohol. I always keep my bubble clean and never let drugs and alcohol control me or my life. I’ve seen the way drugs and alcohol take over people lives and control them. Also, get them addicted, so addicted that I know at least three people dropped out of school because of it. Most of the time people do drugs because they see everybody else doing it so their going to follow them to be cool like everybody else. I don’t care if I am cool or not all I care about is being true to myself and being myself that’s all that matters. That’s what should matter to everyone to, not drugs and alcohol that can shorts your life, and kills you that’s something I don’t want in my life. Drugs and alcohol will ruin your life. People who try drugs or alcohol for their first time will most like to get hook on it. My second way to stay healthy to eat and drink right. I rarely drinking soft drinks and eating junk food, I probably eat junk food or drink a soft drink one or two times a month at the most. I mostly am active I exercise twice a day I do a lot of jumping jacks, push-ups, and

When asked to define myself in one paper, I find it hard to show the details that I want to in the right light. When asked about my future after high school, I also have a hard time describing everything I want to get done because there are far too many things to name. The quote “ _____” (i want to be everyone and do everything and there isn’t enough life to do it all in) describes me to a tee, and I believe this college is the place I could do this in. Being a shy person for most of my life, many things were difficult for me. Specifically, last summer I had the opportunity for a summer job.…

“Shes coming back right?” a baffled 7 year old asks in response to the appalling news of her mother’s death. A vibrant imagination is accompanied by a crushing pain of reality that trails behind it ; I discovered this when I heard the words “no” . 10 years later, that conversation lingers in my head and holds not a cacophonous nor euphonious sound, but instead holds the neutral tone of reality, an alarm . As routine , at 6a.m., I hear a melodious alarm followed by the pitter-patter of my aunt who is getting ready for work.…

When I grow up, I want to change the world! Changing the world one day would make me feel really good. Three ways I would change the world are: make sure everyone has a shelter to live in; help more lost, sick, and hurt animals, and make sure no one is hungry. I would like to help homeless people have a nice place to stay. When I’m driving downtown I see a lot of homeless people on the streets; dirty, and sad.…

When I think about the boy who I was growing up, the young adult I am today, and the man I plan to be in the forthcoming years, one aspect of my life stands out to me far more radiantly than anything else: my culture, my skin, my identity as a Bangladeshi-American. There aren't many clubs or organization for Bangladeshi Americans such as myself. Make no mistake, there are certainly events for Bangladeshis living in the United states, many that I have attended due to various entreaties from my parents. These are event where the only language spoken is one that I barely speak (Bengali), the only music conversed about is that which I don't listen to or understand, and the only events discussed happen in another country that I have spent only a…

I am someone who smiles Someone always telling jokes to make sure no one thinks something is wrong So no one suspects a thing when they see my smile I am someone who fixes the feelings of those whose hearts are shattering like pieces of glass I am someone who loves to dress up and wear makeup so no one sees how truly I am From the bags from staying up at night to the red from crying, both under the concealer Tears behind my eyeshadow-covered eyelids Cracks underneath my red lipstick And the pain within the mouth that contains whitened teeth…

My father was extremely adamant about instilling respect and manners into my brother and I. He constantly told us to be respectful of all people, whether or not we believe they deserve our respect or not because every person needs respect. My dad cared about reputation. His motto was that every time my brother and I left the house, we represented our family, and that we should bring honor to that name. Due to this, I value whatever I may do because I believe my work and my actions are representations of myself and my family.…

It was a typical warm and humid day in central Florida. There was a storm for-cast as usual, there was never a day without one. I sat there in my Mission President’s office waiting for my appointment with him. I had just gotten examined by the mission nurse and things were not looking good for my case of staying on my mission. My diagnosis was a severe case of Psoriasis, the most severe that the Missionary Department in Salt Lake City had ever seen in all the years of operation.…

If anyone has looked at a brightly colored image, and then looked at a black-and-white version of that image, then he or she would notice that he or she observes more detail in the black and white photo. My Legacy and What It Means to be Great As my time here at Hazleton Area High School comes to an end, I am slowly beginning to realize that life will truly begin once I receive my diploma at graduation. After that day, I, as well as the rest of my class, will most likely end up going our separate ways, whether that be going to college and furthering our education or even going straight into a job. However, what most people do not realize is that our memories, actions, and achievements not only stay with us, but also stay here in this school.…

My father is my foundation. He grounds me when I am upset or stressed by showing me that the problems I face are (almost) never unsolvable. However, my once solid foundation crumbled four years ago. Before my foundation was snagged out from under me, my dad went to his doctor for an annual physical. Nothing seemed to be wrong until I was entering a blindingly white, pungently sterile hospital four months later.…

Because I have dedicated my life to basketball, that comes to mind first in my brand audit but, more importantly are the lessons I picked up from playing. Even though I was the youngest in the gym I was not treated any different then anyone. For example, as a kid playing adults I learned about hard work because I had to practice or else I wouldn’t play. In fact, that’s what I did and soon they all wanted me on their team. Also, basketball taught me to appreciate my blessings, especially after 8th grade when I got selected to Simeon while my friends went to a high school in the ghetto.…
