Personal Narrative-My First Hockey Player

At this point, I looked over into the crowds, that was screaming my name and saw a CTV van and cameraman recording the game. I can't believe they sent someone from CTV to record me! This pumped me up I knew I had it in me to carry my team on my back and win us the game. Jason tried taking advantage of us while we were all distracted and he took a shot. I easily caught the ball with my hand and put it on the ground where I backhanded it at the net. The shot went right past the two diving defenders and over Jason's 4 foot 3-inch body into the top right corner. The other team was in shock at how good I was, they knew I was good, but they did not know that I was this good. They did not know that I was quite possibly the best hockey player to ever walk the face of the Earth, they didn't realize that I could single-handedly destroy all of them like the Boston Bruins coming back in game 7 of the playoffs against Toronto. …show more content…
I then proceeded to flip the ball into the air and swung at it like a baseball. I hit the ball with such velocity that it left a massive dent in the post of the net before going in making the score of the game 9-6. The fans were throwing out such praises as “better looking Gretzky” or “greatest athlete of our time” at me. As true as they all were I tried to remain humble about the comments. Scott tried taking a quick shot but he ended up missing our net by 26.37 feet. I ran after the ball and got it, I decided ti take a quick shot from where I was not realizing that a car was backing up. My shot traveled right through the back right window and out their front left window into the top of the net. The car had provided the perfect screen on the other teams goalie to make it only a two-goal

We have a good game coming, San Jose Sharks vs. Detroit Red Wings game 7 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals”. “Yeah Doc, this has been a tough series, very physical game play by these two teams, we've seen stats we have never seen before in the cup finals, each team is averaging 60 shots on goal a game, that is insane!” “Thanks Eddie, now we go to center ice for the puck drop.” I was really nervous, in my rookie season, 19 years old, my team…

My domination of easily breezing by my neighbors in street hockey and always ranked at the top of stat sheets for scoring in recreational hockey, abruptly ended when I joined my first competitive travel hockey team. My first game exemplified the setbacks my fear imposed on my team when I frighteningly moved out of the way of an enormous player to grant him a free pass to the net in which he scored the game winning goal. Shamefully looking at me as if I were an ally of the other team, I became alienated after my team after they began the tradition of…

Although it has become steadily easier, and more about sharpening skills than developing them, in the beginning it was extremely difficult. The progress I have made since when I first began playing is immeasurable. I have come as far as I have in hockey through all the years of support from my father, because he’s always been happy to watch me play competitively.…

Essay “Beep”, “Beep”,”Beep”, It was 8:30 A.M, crawling out of bed after another sleepless friday night, I finally managed to shove a smoothie down my throat and get my mind mentally ready for yet another gruelling 4 hour practice. My morning routine before every practice consisted of my kinetic stretching and rolling out my muscles, along with my main playlist, “Pump up” before the 30 min drive out to calabasas. This was the week of my High School Varsity Lacrosse team’s championship, and was easily one of the most anxious times of my life in my entire sports career. Not only were we nearing finals for my school but, being captain of defense, I had an enormous role to play in helping my teammates along with myself.…
