My First Goal
What if I never got pulled? What if he didn’t give me a second chance? What if Jack didn’t pass me the ball? What if I miss the goal? That’s what I was thinking at Krag Ranch running on the field to left midfield in blue shorts and a short sleeve shirt with a number one on the back with the hot boiling sun shining on are back. With the hole team in their positions ready to attack the ball that was just yelling at us.
“Kick me in the goal”.
Just repeating it over and over but I new that this game I was going to score my first goal.
We were winning by one point are defense was struggling. The offense was one are side with the goal said.
“Get the ball”.
And are coach said.
“Get the ball and kick it out of there”.

I sool the ball and I could feel his foot go in the back of my calf when thought it could not get any worse I feel on the hard dead grass.I raised my hand limbing like a violently wounded dog trying to get to safety and my Coach saw my hand up and yelled at the ref.
“Sub”!
“Sub”!
Coach said ten minutes went by the other team scored a goal and Coach said.
“You ready to go back in?”
And I said.
“Heck ya!”
I got put in left attack I new the net wanted me to score I was running for the middle and Jack was covered with three guys on him he passed it to me and I knew I was going to score, but my Coach said.
“Back to Jack”
I ignored him and I pushed my foot back pounded the ball and hopefully it would roll across the white line. Then I screamed out of my violent lungs when I saw the ball go across the line when I filled with joy as I scored my first goal.
What if I never scored a goal what if I didn’t get a second chance or got a pass from Jack. I still to this day wonder what if that never happened ever since then and every day I wonder what if it really makes you think what if I failed a test what if I never decided to play soccer or play baseball what if I never played sports pretty much now I wonder what

Eight-eighty-seven seventy-one,” Coach Morris said to me. “Look for the outside receivers and tell them to get out of bounds to stop the clock. If they don’t get out of bounds, hurry to the line and spike the ball!” After hearing those instructions from coach I trotted onto the field with 1:22 left in the Decorah football game. Since our defense held them on 4 straight downs we had a second chance and we were going to take advantage of it.…

The next day, we had another soccer game in the morning and I wanted to play, but, a parent on our team is a nurse and she told my mom that I needed to sit out and go to the doctor Monday because she thought I had a concussion. Monday came, and I went to the doctor and they told me I had a terrible concussion and should go to the hospital to see if my skull was cracked. Needless to say, the doctors found nothing wrong but a terrible concussion, and they told me I had the choice to quit soccer or keep playing and become affected by the concussion in 10 years, so, I made the hardest decision I’ve ever made; I quit the game I fell in love with at just 5 years…

As I walk onto the football field for the first game of the season I feel the cool air rise up my spine. I feel the energy from my team as we form together as one, we stand in the corner of the field ready to run out. Our helmets give off a brand new polish since we haven’t used them that much, they shine in the light giving us a bright glisten of navy blue and white. We huddle around and form a circle, our captains start a chant and we follow. When the announcer announces us we storm onto the field breaking the sign, when I take my first couple steps onto the turf I can feel the individual pieces of rubber start to form around my cleat, it feels like a tempur pedic bed the way my cleats sink in, as I walk onto that field for my first Junior…

I run out of the changing room running down the stairs to the goalkeeper .The whistle blows and we get off the field to the sideline and talk strategy for our game plan. My position is striker if you don't watch or know anything about soccer striker is basically the person who is attacking the goal and up in the front field trying to score a goal and also defending our goal. The first half isn't that bad we score three goals, but sadly so did the other team the other team fouls one of our players which gives us a free kick.…
