Personal Narrative: My First Football Player

When I was younger I played grid kids but I was smaller than a lot of the other players, so it made me undesirable, but I loved the game so I practiced hard. I was good at tackling, but I could never remember the plays so I messed up a lot. It was hard for me to see since I needed glasses, but I had broke them. I was put on the 7/8 team which is the team were the player that weren't good enough to be on the good team but weren't bad enough to be on the bad team where the kids that were either really bad or just didn't want to play were . I was a 3rd string which is the last player to go in if people got hurt and couldn't play.I was also a wide receiver and even without my glasses I would still catch the ball. I was second-string for the wide receiver. Once through half the year we would move people in third, second, and first string and this to give the kids who have improved the chance to play more, well I knew that with my glasses I could kill it and be a first string wider receiver. I had better hands then jack the first string player and I could run faster, I just could not really see the ball untell it was right next to me. st and there was one week before the reposition day and I was practicing hard and that day me and my mom were going to get new frames we got there at the eye doctors and I was looking at frames when the guy came out and said that I need to get my eyes rechecked so I could get new lenses I told him I already had lenses and he said it had been a year since my last check and we were just going to look so I went back to the room with all of the equipment and I did the tests the doctor said that my eyes had gotten worse ad I was going to need new lenses for my eyes I asked how long would that take he said 1 to 2
